Hidden Treasures Part One

clue2As seen in The Humm, we’re having a bit of a Treasure Hunt here at MMMusicworks. It seems Treebeard received a $100 gift certificate for his 33,001st birthday, and well, lately he’s been, um, forgetting things… Follow the clues on the website and in The Humm and help him find it. If you do, you’ll ease his worried mind and he’ll be almost as happy as he was before Wandlimb & the Entwives forsook the forest for more fertile ground. So happy will Treebeard be, he’ll let you keep it for your own!

MMMusicworks Billboard goes missing…

img_2006

The mysteries continue… MMMusicworks is offering a reward for information leading to the conviction of the villain(s) who stole our missing billboard. Situated on the north side of Highway 29 and facing west, our sign about 5 minutes out of town has been completely removed. The sign easily withstood 5 small hurricanes, one of which blew down Ron’s Fruit Stand - a much bigger edifice than our billboard. Removing the sign was no small task, and would have required a full-size pickup and probably four men - at least two very strong ones. Anyone with any information is encouraged to contact George @ 613-256-(as the sign says)-PLAY.

Music Mania - Fall’09 at Musicworks

There are so many new things going on this fall at Musicworks, our heads are spinning at the thought of all the upcoming action.  Of course registration for music lessons of ALL kinds is already going on - guitar, bass, piano, drums, voice, banjo, violin/fiddle, brass, woodwinds…you name it, we teach it.  There’s even MORE going on though.  We’re starting a stage band, a vocal ensemble, running tons of workshops, having a Halloween party complete with costumed performances by students and teachers AND we’ve got AC/DC and Metallica master classes happening too!    Check out our workshops page (found under Music School menu) for the details.  You can even sign up online.  Unstoppable fun of the musical variety is HERE this fall at Musicworks.
