A veritable musical encyclopedia, his styles range as far and wide as his taste; his roots are in the blues, jazz, folk and rock. Ken Harper layin' it down

We would like to welcome Ken Harper to our roster of music teachers

Not only is he proficienty with Celtic material, he has also studied jazz at Humber, played across Canada with Garden Bros Circus (a tightrope kind of a gig for a musician….improv all the way) and basked in the presence of the late great Oscar Peterson.  He holds a BFA in jazz studies from York University.  Whether you’re interested in rudiments, kit, jazz or a little traditional drumming - Ken has lots to offer.

MMMusicworks is a multi-faceted music hub located in Almonte, Ontario. Here we teach a myriad of musical instruments, sell instruments and accessories including acoustic and digital pianos, acoustic and electric guitars, violins, banjos, mandolins, melodions, wind chimes and more.
