MMMusicworks is excited to announce the newest addition to our teaching staff Tobias Meis. He started out playing the bass when he was as tall as the instrument and hasn’t looked back. Tobias’ passion for music and his incredible background will fit in perfectly with our outstanding faculty. Derrick’s vast experience and skill as a luthier is a perfect complement to our tour de force team. We’re one big happy family, and Derrick’s attitude and ability are an excellent fit to our philosophy and approach. Have confidence!

What could be better than joining the enthusiastic teachers and students of Musicworks in a night of terrific music and exceptional food and drink? Come out and listen to everything from classical to Pink Floyd (performers include Kasey Costello with Terry Tufts, The Koster Brothers, Gabe Rudyk, Victor Maltby with Denise Gvozdanovic and MORE!). Unfortunately we’re faced with the necessity of postponing our festival until next year. We will not rest on our laurels, however! We’re planning a concert series at The Old Town Hall to raise money for our Festival Park plans for 2011. Check out www.mavfest.ca for details!
